The converted mana cost of a card in your graveyard is determined solely by the mana symbols printed in its upper right corner. The converted mana cost is the total amount of mana in that cost, regardless of color. For example, a card with mana cost {1}{U}{U} has converted mana cost 3.
2017-04-18
If the mana cost of a card in your graveyard includes X, X is considered to be 0.
2017-04-18
All attackers are chosen at once. You can’t attack with Devoted Crop-Mate, return a creature card to the battlefield, and then attack with that creature.
2017-04-18
If the creature returned to the battlefield has any abilities that trigger when creatures attack or when you exert creatures, those abilities won’t trigger.
2017-04-18
You can’t exert a creature unless an effect allows you to do so. Similar effects that “tap and freeze” a creature (such as that of Decision Paralysis) don’t exert that creature.
2017-04-18
If an exerted creature is already untapped during your next untap step (most likely because it had vigilance or an effect untapped it), exert’s effect preventing it from untapping expires without having done anything.
2017-04-18
If you gain control of another player’s creature until end of turn and exert it, it will untap during that player’s untap step.
2017-04-18
If a creature has a targeted triggered ability that triggers when you exert it, you can exert it even if there isn’t a legal target for that triggered ability.
2017-04-18
All cards in the Amonkhet set that let you exert a creature let you do so as you declare it as an attacking creature, as do some of the cards in the Hour of Devastation set. You can’t do so later in combat, and creatures put onto the battlefield attacking can’t be exerted. Any abilities that trigger on exerting an attacking creature will resolve before blockers are declared.

Card Quality Information

Near Mint

All Near Mint cards are shipped in individual penny sleeves to ensure the highest quality. All near mint cards are inspected for quality to ensure excellent condition of each card and very minor markings that have come straight from the pack. In most cases our Near Mint cards have gone from pack directly to sleeve.

Excellent - LP (light play)

All cards advertised in excellent-LP should be of excellent condition or higher, showing few signs of light play and very minor markings on the surface or edges of the cards. Excellent-LP cards are shipped together in penny sleeves of up to 5 cards per sleeve.

Very good - MP (moderate play)

All cards in Very Good-MP condition should be in very good condition showing signs of moderate pay. This can include some surface markings, minor scuffs and edge markings. Overall markings should be minor, reflecting a condition between Excellent and Average.

Average - HP (heavy play)

All cards in Average-HP condition will show some significant signs of wear on the surface and/or edges of a card which has had significant play. Average condition cards should not be damaged in any way, have corners cut, bends, tears or any identifiable malformations of the card itself. Apart from heavy wear, all aspects of the card should be complete without any signs of physical and/or water damage.

Damaged

Damaged cards are affected by some kind of malformation to the surface or edges of the card. This can include surface bends, cut corners, water damage, inking and minor cuts or abrasions. All cards sold as damaged must have an image attached. For a card to be sold as damaged, it must be flat, playable in a sleeve and the front and back of the card should be legible showing all text including the card name, mana cost, image, card text and footer text.
